The Festival City Theatres Trust, which runs the Festival and King’s Theatres in Edinburgh, is delighted to announce the launch of The Attic Collective, a new theatre company for emerging actors working with Director Susan Worsfold and Creative Producer Cat Sheridan.

This is a unique FREE talent development initiative offering unrivalled industry access and an unprecedented showcase to a group of emerging actors aged between 18-26 years old. Inspired by the traditional repertory theatre company model this unique ensemble will produce work with leading industry professionals and participate in professional development workshops with visiting companies such as National Theatre, Opera North as well as the Festival and King’s Theatres engagement artists. The initiative includes three performances (a classic, a contemporary and a musical) on our main stages and around Edinburgh in 2017.

The Third and Final show of our inaugural season centred on the themes of Cash, Capital, War & Women is Bertolt Brecht and Kurt Weill's seminal musical theatre piece The Threepenny Opera. Friday 15th & Sat 16th of September at the Kings theatre.

Auditions for this years season are now closed. More information on the next round of auditions will be coming soon. Please keep an eye on this page.
