NEW ACCESSIBLE DOORS AT FESTIVAL THEATRE

NEW ACCESSIBLE DOORS AT FESTIVAL THEATRE

Wednesday 22 June 2016

We're delighted to unveil our new automated accessible doors at the Festival Theatre, made possible by funding from the Life Changes Trust.

The new doors will make access to the Festival Theatre easier for everyone.

The award of £320,000 in March 2015 from the Life Changes Trust made it possible for us to create the Forget Me Not project, a programme of events and activities to engage people living with dementia, their family and friends. As part of the project, we commissioned access audits of our theatres and we are steadily introducing the recommendations from those audits to make access and orientation easier wherever possible at the Festival and King's Theatres.
