RELAXED PANTO HIGHLY COMMENDED IN ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS 2015

The Festival City Theatres Trust and All Special Schools were recognised with a 'Highly Commended' award at the recent Children and Families Achievement Awards, held at the Asembly Rooms on Monday 28 September 2015.

The award was given to commend the first ever Relaxed Performance of the King's Theatre pantomime, which took place on Thursday 15 Jnaury 2015. 

Cerin Richardson, Head of Creativity and Diversity, and Lucy Clement, Development Manager accepted the award on behalf of the Festival City Theatres Trust., along with Ruth Hendery, Acting Service Manager, Special Schools, Edinburgh and Ailie Findlay, the storyteller who visited schools before the relaxed performance to familiarise the children with the story of Aladdin.

The next Relaxed Performance of the King's Panto, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, will be on Thursday 14 January 2016.
