Please consider supporting us in whatever way you can. As a charity, we cannot rely on ticket income alone and are grateful to our Friends, Patrons and donors for supporting us. Whether you donate £1 or £1,000, your gift will go directly to creating a diverse artistic programme, maintaining these historic theatres and developing a strong programme of learning and participation projects. Leave a Gift in Your Will
You can help safeguard the future of these two much-loved theatres with a gift in your will. It’s a way of showing your love for theatre and two icons of the Edinburgh cultural scene, at no cost during your lifetime.
It can be a surprisingly straightforward process to remember a charity in your Will, but we do recommend that you consult a solicitor who will be able to discuss your plans in relation to your personal circumstances. For an informal chat about leaving a gift in your will or to receive some simple guidelines that can help you arrange a legacy, please email email@example.com or phone 0131 622 8087.
If you do decide to pledge a gift to the Festival and King’s Theatres, or if you have made a pledge already, we’d love to hear from you. Not only does it help us enormously with our planning, but means that we can show our gratitude to you during your lifetime. We fully understand that this is only a statement of your current intentions and is in no way binding. By pledging a legacy we want to make you part of the theatres’ present as well as their future.

You may like to consider donating quoted shares and securities to the theatres. Shares may make very little difference to you but they could make a big difference to the theatre. You’ll be able to claim income tax relief and will not have to pay the capital gains tax that would be eligible had you sold the shares.
