“Once upon a time and far far away there were 25 tin soldiers. Brothers. Because they were all born from one single spoon. One spoon! That must have been one flipping big spoon. Enormous. Have you ever thought?”
Birds of Paradise Theatre Company bring you an exciting retelling of Hans Christian Andersen’s first ever children’s story. The Tin Soldier is about two people who find each other in a rough tough world, although, like winter, nothing lasts forever. Written by acclaimed writer of young persons theatre Mike Kenny (The Railway Children) and featuring designs by award-winning Russian puppet designer Victor Nonenko, BOP’s new Christmas show is a magical tale of derring do, devotion and never giving up.
Featuring performances from Robert Gale, Caroline Parker and live original music from award-winning folk duo Bella and the Bear and critically acclaimed music producer Audrey Tait.
